Exciting News: Funding Secured for Video Series Celebrating North Devon’s Creative Spirit!

We’re thrilled to announce that the North Devon Handmade Collective has been awarded funding from Torridge District Council and the UK Government to produce a brand new series of five promotional videos showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of local artists, makers, and traditional crafters.

This funding comes as part of the UK Government’s commitment to supporting small businesses, community initiatives, and cultural heritage across the region—and we couldn’t be more proud to represent the vibrant creative community here in North Devon.

What to Expect

The five-part video series will shine a spotlight on:

🎨 Traditional Crafts – From weaving to woodwork, pottery to printmaking, we’ll highlight some of the centuries-old techniques still practiced (and preserved) by passionate makers across the region.

🧵 Services & Support – Learn more about the variety of services offered by the North Devon Handmade Collective, including business support, local networking opportunities, and events tailored for creatives.

🌟 Artist Spotlights – Meet the faces behind the craft! We'll be interviewing a diverse selection of artists and crafters, giving you a behind-the-scenes look into their processes, inspirations, and personal journeys.
